Google vs. Sharepoint

Google released Google Sites today. The sample sites look like they are created by a programmer. It reminds me of Geocities from the 1990's. It would be great if Google would use OpenEdit instead of creating a limited version from scratch.

alaskamiller - this is lame. this is simply microsoft sharepoint and even for a microsoft product sharepoint suck hardcore.

wbeavis - Sharepoint is totally awesome...on paper...and in presentations. Trying to implement it, and get use from it, is a whole other issue. It is pretty window dressing that woo's dumb people in suits with lots of money.

alaskamiller - people only use it because IT forces it. IT forces it because they get to keep their job at implementing and maintaining it
