Last year, OpenEdit was one of the top five CMS solution's chosen for Packt Publishing's 2007 Open Source CMS Award under the category of "Best Other Open Source Content Management System ". Packt Publishing has just begun to accept nominations for their 2008 Open Source CMS Awards and OpenEdit plans on going all the way under the category of "Most Promising Open Source CMS".

The Packt Open Source Content Management System Award is designed to encourage, support, recognize and reward Open Source Content Management Systems (CMS) that have been selected by a panel of judges and visitors to www.PacktPub.com. Now entering its third year, the Award has established itself as an important measure for quality and the popularity of Open Source Content Management Systems.

This past year has proven to be very successful for OpenEdit, our developers have worked hard to make OpenEdit even a better open source project. We've seen our OpenEdit User Community begin to grow, we've added development staff and our corporate customer base is growing!
