There are two ways of translating OpenEdit: enabling translations in your root _site.xconf file, and then create a directory for each language you want to translate your site to. These directories go under /tranlations/. For example, the japanese translation would go under /translations/jp/. This is useful for translating the whole site.

The other way is localizating your page properties. If you edit a page and write "[[my text]]" in it, you can then create a property in it's xconf file named "text.my text" this way:
